The A-LIST Award
Fieldcraft was awarded the A-LIST Award for startups in the Seed to Series A category last night. The event sponsored by the Austin Chamber and SXSW and hosted by Capital Factory. Now in its tenth year, A-LIST is an introduction to visionary founders and exciting new companies that create the most important audiences in Texas and beyond, and is a celebration of business innovation and entrepreneurship.
Fieldcraft is the first ingredient marketplace for food and agriculture. Since 2019, thousands of buyers have joined Fieldcraft from emerging brands to global food and beverage companies. Suppliers on the platform range from a 7 acre orchard to a 40,000 acre Organic operation, and from local processors to the largest ingredient supplier in the world.
Fieldcraft Co-Founder and CEO Michael Chapman comes from a farming community and is passionate about the future of food and agriculture. Michael is a veteran, led special operations teams in the CIA and later served in the White House Situation Room. Co-Founder and CTO Kristy Flynn spent over a decade developing technology and data solutions for small to Fortune 100 companies around the world.
Fieldcraft started out by connecting buyers to specialty crop growers and is now the only platform to connect the entire vertical of food production. Fieldcraft’s roots are in agriculture which presented a unique perspective into how to streamline the value-added supply chain. Fieldcraft is on a mission to modernize ingredient sourcing from farm to foodtech.
