MN Própolis supplies whole raw green propolis that has a spicy taste. Propolis is a resinous substance that bees collect from various plants and trees, which they then mix with their own enzymes and beeswax. It serves as a protective barrier for the beehive, sealing cracks and gaps and providing defense against pathogens and pests.

Green propolis gets its color from the specific plants and trees that bees gather resin from. The green hue is often associated with certain types of Brazilian propolis, particularly from the Baccharis dracunculifolia plant. This type of propolis is highly valued for its potential health benefits, attributed to its rich composition of bioactive compounds, including flavonoids, phenolic acids, and other antioxidants.

The raw green propolis is harvested by our beekeepers who carefully collect it from the beehives without altering its natural composition. It's then processed or used directly in various forms such as tinctures, extracts, or even consumed raw for its potential health-promoting properties.

MN Própolis Liquid Green Propolis Extract has a concentration of >28% and is produced with the highest quality green propolis. It has the highest concentration of propolis in our line of alcoholic extracts, also guaranteeing the highest levels of flavonoids and Artepillin-C, guaranteed by an extraction process resulting from almost 30 years of experience and studies.

Green propolis is a gift from nature, a natural resinous material collected by bees that consists of its floral origin (rosemary), which mainly produces the presence of a bioactive compound called Artepillin-C. Rich in bioactive compounds, such as flavonoids, phenolic acids and vitamins, green propolis is known for its many beneficial health properties.
