PURIS Pea Starch PS85 is the perfect starch for thickening. PURIS pea starch is a native, cook-up pea starch that provides thickening and bulking in bakery, soups, and sauces. Also ideal in plant-based health and beauty applications.

It offers a clean taste and color, smooth mouthfeel, stable gel formation and short texture and is solvent-free.

PURIS PS85 is high in amylose, which allows the starch to withstand a high degree of shear, low pH, and process stability. Plus, it’s a domestic, non-GMO source, making it a perfect replacement for corn.

PURIS PS85-PG is a non-GMO, pre-gelled, instant starch used for texture and function in applications where heat is not available. Clean-tasting, neutral color and made in the USA. 

Thickens soups and gravies while providing moisture in baked goods, all without heat. This starch performs well in cold and low-temperature process systems. Plus, its clean taste reduces the need for maskers or other ingredients, all while being sourced domestically in North America. 

This starch offers a clean taste and color, smooth mouthfeel, stable gel formation, short texture and is solvent-free.

Pre-Gel Pea Starch

PURIS HiLo is an acid-stable plant protein optimized for low-pH/high-acid applications. With ultra-high solubility, it can be seamlessly added to products without imparting viscosity. 

Traditionally, plant proteins have been incompatible in acidic environments due to protein precipitation, which creates an extremely chalky mouthfeel. PURIS HiLo is changing the game by creating a solution for protein fortification in acidic beverages and foods.

HiLo boasts 80% protein, low water-hold, high solubility, stability in acidic environments, and a clean taste. And stability in acidic environments means PURIS HiLo will impart a clean taste along with a smooth, non-chalky mouthfeel in low-pH applications.
