Mangosteen puree is a smooth, thick paste made from the flesh of the mangosteen fruit (Garcinia mangostana). The mangosteen is a tropical fruit native to Southeast Asia and is known for its sweet and tangy flavor.

To make mangosteen puree, the ripe mangosteen fruits are typically harvested and the outer rind is removed to reveal the soft, juicy segments inside. These segments, often called arils or flesh, are then pureed into a smooth consistency.
