At Minard Farms we press our cider from a blend of tree-ripened, hand-picked apples. We never use fruit that has fallen on the ground. Each pressing is done right at the orchard and is made from a carefully selected blend of apples that ensures a consistently high quality flavor, sweetness and color. We flash-pasteurize or UV-treat our cider, depending on our customers needs. Minard Farms cider contains less than 1/20th of 1% of potassium sorbate as preservative and has an 8 week code. We are Kosher Certified (Vaad Hakashrus of Crown Heights) and licensed in New York and Connecticut. We are HACCP Certified and have had a HACCP Plan in place one year prior to the FDA requirement because we feel that product safety is most important.
