Our finely milled sorghum bran is naturally gluten free and is an excellent source of dietary fiber and can be used in baked goods, sauces, shakes, or blended into seasonings. We understand that it can be difficult to incorporate enough dietary fiber into your diet as it is recommended that women should consume 25 grams of dietary fiber a day and that men should consume 38 grams a day until the age of 50. After 50, the recommended intake is 21 grams a day for women and 30 grams a day for men.  Our high quality sorghum brans can help both consumers and producers incorporate additional dietary fiber into gluten free products.

Mimicking brown and artisan gluten free breads can be a challenge for chefs and product developers, however sorghum bran can be used within flour blends at levels as low as 5% to develop rich dark colors that can help differentiate your product in the gluten free marketplace. Our sorghum brans contain high levels of antioxidants, tannins and polyphenolic compounds which could have potential health benefits.

FibraGel Sorghum Flour is made from a new variety of sorghum from our plant breeding program.

It provides the nutrition of whole-grain sorghum flour but with increased functionality. Based on our proprietary process, it conditions starches to provide ideal binding characteristics in many applications. It increases volume in gluten-free and vegan baked goods, improves the shelf life of gluten-free formulas, makes baked goods more moist and tender, improves product volume, increases dough elasticity, and improves crumb structure.

Our company is vertically integrated from the fields to the mill to achieve the highest quality of sustainable, allergen free, IP sorghum grain. We produce sorghum products from whole grain to bakery flour to popped sorghum.

Each farm selected for planting, must follow a strict set of management guidelines in order to preserve the identity of the gluten free sorghum grain. This program allows our grain to be traced from the fields where they are planted and harvested, to the packaged products offered to our valued customers.

During harvest and transport our equipment is extensively cleaned and inspected to prevent cross contamination. Our Food Safety Director oversees and documents this process to give us the ability to track production from our fields to the finished products that you are selling to your customers.

Our specialized milling process allows us to mill our flours into a silky, fine particle size which is ideal for gluten free baking. All products are milled and packaged in our dedicated gluten free, peanut free, and soy free facility.
